Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a semi-detached, newly refurbished country cottage dating back to around 1844. Nestled in the centre of the quiet coastal village of Bowness-on-Solway at the end of the Roman wall.
The Cottage consists of upstairs; three bedrooms, one twin, one double and one double with en-suite shower. Also a family bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower.
The ground floor comprises of the kitchen which leads off to a small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and cloakroom.
Stepping down from the kitchen into the dining room, there is an original fire place with period features.
Through into the lounge there is a leather sofa, digital TV, DVD and wood burning stove.
There is full oil central heating throughout the property.

Directions to Rose Cottage

Leave M6 at Junction 43 signed for Carlisle, at traffic lights (Tesco on the right hand side) carry straight on for about a mile through a 2nd set of lights. Continue until a 3rd set of lights (Just after the Beehive pub on the left) Get into the right hand lane and go right at the church.
Continue past Carlisle College on your right and onto the dual carriageway. Follow the road down to the roundabout were you should be in the centre lane and heading for the first exit on your left. Continuing passed Carlisle Castle on your right. At the mini roundabout bear right and follow the signs for the B5307.
Travel past the Hospital stay on this road for about 1 mile until you bear right for Burgh by Sands.
Continue out of the city, through the village of Kirkandrews-on-Eden and Monkhill. Carry on through Burgh By Sands until eventually you come to Burgh Marsh.Over the Marsh pass through Drumburgh and continue onto Port Carlisle. Following the Coastal Road for a further 2 miles you arrive at Bowness on Solway. As you enter the village a small road should be on your left, just past that on the right stands Rose Cottage.
