The Nest
THE NEST is a unique stable conversion beamed cottage for 2 on our village farm.
It is on ground level, and has a view to the stream from the lounge, and to Skiddaw mountain in the distance from the bedroom.
The ducks waddle past the stable door of the cottage on their way to the farmyard and stream.
Bedroom, kitchen, shower room and lounge.
The village pub is only a short stroll along the stream side. Plenty of country walks or mountain climbs from the door. The popular market towns of Keswick, Cockermouth, many lakes, and the rest of the Lake District and Cumbria are in easy reach.
An ideal place to chill out and get away from it all.

Directions to The Nest
Turn off M6 at juntion 40, take A66 to Keswick then take A591 from roundabout on outskirts of Keswick. From here take sign for Carlisle which is actually for Bassenthwaite!
6 miles on turn right for Bassenthwaite Village. The cottage is on a farm by the stream "signed Brook House Cottage Holidays"
