Ideally situated for walking down country lanes, hills, or mountains, and visiting Keswick and further lakes.
Village pub serving meals only 2 mins stroll along the stream.
Childen (and young at heart adults!) will enjoy feeding the ducks and chickens, and seeing the farmyard animals, playing pooh-sticks and catching minnows in the stream.
15 mins from the market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth with easy access to the rest of the Lake District and Cumbria.

£400 - £950 per week depending on time of year and number of people.
Short breaks available off -peak from £50 per night mid week.
Weekend breaks available off-peak £250-£450.

Directions to Brook House 1
Take junction 40 off the M6 and continue on the A66 towards Keswick (15 miles). DO NOT TURN OFF INTO KESWICK TOWN CENTRE, Take very last turning off the roundabout on edge of Keswick (A591 signposted for Carlisle).
Travel only 6 miles from here then turn off to Bassenthwaite Village. Half a mile from this road you reach the village. We are on the far side of this small village by the stream.
