Apple Tree House

Set in the picturesque village of Ullock, Apple Tree Cottage is a lovely house sleeping up to four people.
Ullock is a great starting point to explore the Western Lake District and coast. Loweswater Lake is less than ten minutes drive away, and Ennerdale Water is a 15 minute drive. Both lakes enjoy a certain solitude that can sometimes be hard to find in the Lake District.
There are a couple of pubs within a couple of miles of the cottage – The Wild Duck in Branthwaite or the Royal Yew in Dean which has an ancient yew tree in its forecourt, reputed to be 1000 years old.
For shops, Cockermouth (just 5 miles away) has a Sainsbury's as well as a wide variety of smaller independent shops, pubs and cafes.
