Barn Roost
Situated in the rural hamlet of Ruthwaite a cluster of cottages some one mile west of Ireby lies Barn Roost, next door to the home of the renowned Cumbrian huntsman John Peel. The cottage has retained its characterful features with an abundance of beams to provide a cosy cottage in a tranquil rural setting in the northern fells.
The central heated accommodation comprises of dining kitchen equipped with oven and hob, slim-line dishwasher, fridge, microwave, dining area including a church pew opening out onto the characterful beamed lounge equipped with multi fuel stove, 2 leather sofa’s, colour TV, DVD & CD player, conservatory/utility, equipped with washing machine , with access to the raised screened patio. First floor: spacious beamed double bedroom with brass bed, colour TV & DVD player, children’s room equipped with bunk beds, bathroom with shower over bath, vanity unit wash hand basin, towel rail and WC.
All electric, oil and initial supply of logs included. Bed linen and towels included. Parking for one car.
