In what must be one of the most picturesque and tranquil location you could wish to find is Brockholes Farm. Situated on the banks if the River Lune with views and walking to Tebay fells and Howgills makes this an ideal location for those seeking a refreshing break at any time of the year. Tebay is just off the M6 motorway between Penrith and Kendal, a good base to visit the dales or lakes. Brockholes is 2 miles south of Tebay and is approached over a 1-mile single track over fields.
The former sheep farm has been converted by craftsmen using local materials to provide 2 Lakeland stone holiday cottages that have been traditionally furnished and well equipped to a high standard. Both cottages have ample parking and superb view
This end stone cottage has 3 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with an adjacent bathroom, ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs and compromises Dining /kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Lounge with wood burning stove, colour TV, DVD player and patio doors leading to the garden. Single bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. First floor: Double bedroom with a four poster bed. Twin bedroom. Shower room with hand basin and WC.
