Situated facing the village green in Temple Sowerby, Primrose Cottage is a lovely one bedroom property offering first class accommodation for a couple wanting a romantic break at any time of the year. The cottage is furnished in a traditional cottage style, with high quality furnishings, exposed beams in all rooms, a log/coal-burning stove with back boiler providing central heating. Superb views from the rear to the Pennine Fells.
The village of Temple Sowerby nestles in the Eden Valley and is situated, midway, between Penrith and Appleby, ideally located to visit the lakes, Dales or Hadrians Wall. The village is picturesque with sandstone traditional cottages, some dating back to the 16th Century, clustered around the village green, and within 100 metres of the cottage is the Kings Arms Inn providing good bar food for those wanting a relaxing evening or for something a little more luxurious there is the Temple Sowerby Hotel just across the road.
Within a short drive there are the market towns of Penrith and Appleby with their wealth of amenities, Lake Ullswater and Rheged Visitor Centre.
