These16th Century barns have been skilfully converted by local craftsmen to provide a superb courtyard development or four barns that is sure to be of interest to those seeking a peaceful break and a high standard of accommodation in superb rolling countryside. The sandstone barns are all of individual style with flexible layout and lend themselves to families going on holiday together who will appreciate the independence and privacy that these homes will provide.
Situated in the heart of rural Raughton Head, five miles from Dalston, seven miles from Carlisle and only twenty miles from Keswick. An ideal location for a peaceful break but equally suitable to view the Lakes, Hadrian’s Wall and Solway Coast. High Head Sculpture Valley ‘Cumbria’s unique tourist attraction’ is within three miles. Or explore the numerous footpaths through the countryside and wander along the riverbank to watch the wildlife.
All homes have oil fired central heating, solid oak flooring and are well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The cottages have patio gardens accessed from the living/dining rooms with additional shared grounds. Private parking and on site laundry facilities. Comprises: Open plan kitchen, dining and living area with wood burning stove and cruick beamed ceiling. Bedroom with king size bed and LCD TV. Wet room with shower, hand basin and WC.
