Conveniently located to enjoy the whole of Cumbria, Pooley Bridge is on the northern tip of Lake Ullswater and only 5 minutes drive from the market town of Penrith and the meandering lanes of the Eden Valley. A scenic trip over Kirkstone pass will bring you to Ambleside or Windermere for a faster Lake District pace where there are a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants. Keswick is only 20 minutes away with an abundance of activities and dotted along the shores of Lake Ullswater are many interesting villages offering sailing, fishing, windsurfing, cycling and much more.
Windy Nook is centrally located within the village of Pooley Bridge and has retained much of its traditional charm including beamed ceilings and Inglenook fireplace. Close by are a number of shops, bars and restaurants and a relaxing trip on the Ullswater Steamer can be taken.
The cottage is oil centrally heated and comprises: Lounge with beams, colour TV and Inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. Dining/kitchen with electric oven and hob, Belfast sink and microwave. Utility room with washing machine and fridge/freezer.
First floor: Double and twin bedrooms. Shower room, which is accessed from each of the bedrooms, with hand basin and WC.
All electric, oil, logs and bed linen included. On street parking. Cot available.
