Castlerigg Farm Cottage
Castlerigg Farm Cottage is situated on a working dairy farm midway between the quiet village of Armathwaite and Lazonby in the Eden Valley. With easy access by car to the popular city of Carlisle and the market town of Penrith.
The area as a whole is fantastic for wildlife with red squirrels, buzzards and deer near by. There are walks across the fields with fabulous views in all directions. Ideal for those long walks with the dog.
The area is also very good for cycling, fishing, climbing and riding and has the famous settle to Carlisle rail link passing by. There is also an open-air swimming pool at nearby Lazonby. With many fine restaurants and traditional local pubs just 3 miles away.
The oil centrally heated accommodation comprises: Lounge with freeview TV, DVD, CD radio and electric stove and views to Saddleback. Dining/kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer and microwave.
First Floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom. Bathroom with WC and hand basin.
All fuel and bed linen included. Cot available. Garden with seating and BBQ. Ample private parking. The owners are happy to do guided tours of the farm and baby-sitting by prior arrangements.
