Curlew Cottage
Stonefold is the ideal base for exploring the Northern Lake District and the unspoilt Eden Valley. The cottages nestle in open countryside, next to the owners house, converted from a former hay barn dating back to the 18th century to three cosy cottages. Each of the cottages have magnificent views of the Eden Valley and Pennines. Lake Ullswater is only 6 miles and Keswick 15 miles, the market town of Penrith is 2 miles with a wealth of amenities.
Curlew Cottage is centrally heated and comprises: Double and single bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and hand basin. First floor: Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with colour TV, DVD and dining table. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave
All cottages have all oil, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Private parking for 1 car per cottage and shared garden with decking and barbecue. Free use of the North Lakes Hotel leisure facilities including swimming pool and gym (2 miles away). Complimentary flowers, wine and chocolates for your arrival. Nearest pub and farm shop is in Stainton three quarters of a mile away.
