Gamblesby is a traditional Cumbrian village located at the foothills of the northern Pennines,located on the coast to coast cycle route and with walking from the front door this cottage is sure to appeal to those who enjoy the great an area of stunning scenery the cottage overlooks a small waterfall which can be seen through the patio doors in the lounge.Built from local sandstone the cottage has an open fire which is ideal for cuddling up to after a hard day on the fells in the winter months and the garden with furniture is a place a peace and tranquillity for the summer months. The village of Melmersby,famous for its bakery ,is only 5 minutes drive away and Penrith is a 20 minute drive on the A686 which was voted no 1 by the AA in the Ten Great Drives of some of the world`s most beautiful roads.
The cottage is accessed by 2 steps,and is all on one property comprises of:Dining/lounge with open fire,kitchen,one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, and private parking for 2 cars.
