Lonsdale Park
Lonsdale Park is a site of scientific interest on an unspoilt estate that specialises in fishing holidays. The fishery is set in approximately 40 acres of mature, secluded countryside and woodland that is a haven for wildlife and birdwatchers attracting a rare breeds to the pondlife.
Whilst the development is mainly for the angler, there are opportunities for the beginner to try their luck. Lonsdale park would appeal to those seeking a peaceful retreat at any time of the year in the most idyllic, tranquil surroundings in a secure family environment. The site is equally suitable as a base to discover the Northern Lakes, Eden Valley, Hadrians Wall and Scottish Borders being situated 5 miles south of Carlisle with easy access to the M6 motorway.
Lonsdale Cottages are six holiday cottages overlooking Lonsdale Lake and comprises: Lounge with colour TV and video. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.
Each cottage has the benefit of parking to the front adjacent to the property and has its own private fishing peg only a few yards away on the lake.
