Crummock Water
These log cabins are set within a wooded area overlooking a tarn on the outskirts of Skelwith Bridge. The 18 acres of woodland is home to a combination of 2 and 3 bedroom lodges and apartments, there is also a log cabin with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and games room (the pool and Jacuzzi are free of charge, sauna charged locally). Neaum Crag has its own small shop and laundry.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty with walking opportunities from the door, Skelwith Bridge is at the foothills of the Langdale Pikes, Ambleside is only 5 minutes away by car where there is a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants, making this an ideal choice for those who enjoy getting back to nature in an area of peace and tranquillity but with amenities close by. Neaum Crag is open from early March to mid November..
Crummock Water is heated by night storage heaters and comprises: Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with colour TV, DVD player, electric fire and dining table. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Double bedroom with Queen size bed, twin bedroom and small bunk bedroom with full size bunk beds. Shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
All electric and bed linen included. Private parking for 2 cars. Complimentary use of the on site leisure facilities. Please note this property is located at the top of a steep hill and is accessed by 36 steps, so it is not be suitable for the elderly or young children.
