Castle How
The village of Rosthwaite is at the southern end of the Borrowdale valley and is ideally placed for those who enjoy the great outdoors with stunning scenery with walks and cycling opportunities from the door and with Keswick being within a 10 minute drive shops, restaurants and bars are all close by. The village is popular with those who enjoy walking and some of the popular walks include the isolated village of Watendlath, famous for its pack horse bridge and a stroll along the river to Seatoller. The Borrowdale valley has many interesting sights with the Bowder stone and the slate mine at the top of Honister Pass to name just two points of interest. The village has a shop and is within walking distance of a traditional village inn.
Castle How is all on one level, has electric heating and comprises: Entrance porch with evening sun. Dining/lounge with log fire, magnificent fell views, colour TV, video, DVD and CD player, selection of books and guides and dining table. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer. Stable door to porch. Double bedroom with king size bed. Bunk bedroom with adult size bunk beds. Single bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath. Separate WC with hand basin.
