A traditional Lakeland cottage built about 1870, the Whitehouse has been furnished with every attention to detail. Antiques and fine furnishings create an ambience of comfort and well-being for our guests.
Private parking at the rear of the house is an essential for a hassle free break, especially in the busy season!
Situated in a quiet residential area, close to Keswick town centre with its many attractions and yet only a few minutes from the outstanding beauty of Derwentwater where you can sit and appreciate the fells surrounding or take a ferry to one of the jetties and start a walk to Catbells or Ashness Bridge or one of the other famous landmarks.

Directions to The White House
From Penrith & M6 Motorway: Follow the A66 towards Keswick and take the first turing towards the town. When you reach the main junction turn right following signs for Ambleside. 200 yds up the hill on your right is a turning down towards the twon centre. Go down the hill until it flattens out and the White House is on your right.
From Ambleside: You enter Keswick coming down a steep hill. When you pass the first group of houses on your right, there is a turning left towards Keswick town centre. Go down the winding hill until it flattens out and the White House is on your right.
