Midtown Farmhouse

With fantastic views towards the coast and Black Combe behind, Mid Town Farmhouse offers group accommodation on the quieter side of the Lake District. The house faces South and profits from the coastal sunshine that you don't always see in the central Lake District. There is an array of walks right from the front door – either straight up the mountainside of Black Combe or along the flatter coastal landscape.
The house itself is in splendid order throughout. With good sized rooms there is a feeling of space and airiness and twelve people are easily accommodated here. With great attention to detail, the house has a feeling of home about it.
There are five bedrooms in total - three doubles and two bedrooms with a double and a single in each of them.
The sitting room is on a split level with a curtain to create two living areas if needed. The main part has an open fire, widescreen TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is large and fully equipped with an oil fired aga, additional electric hob, two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble drier.
The dining room has a long table to seat twelve people.
On the first floor are three double bedrooms, two of which are ensuite (one with a slipper bath, the other with roll top claw feet bath). There is also a third bathroom with roll top bath and shower. The bedrooms (and bathrooms) are all spacious and airy.
