Comb Beck
Comb Beck is a charming old stone cottage, in a very peaceful setting.
Tastefully refurbished in Spring 2006. The cottage has central heating throughout, underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom, and a wood burning stove in the lounge.
The terraced garden runs down to the beck, with a wooden bridge to cross.
Superb walks/cycles directly from the cottage to forest and fells beyond.
Approximately 3 miles from Keswick.

Directions to Comb Beck
Approaching from Keswick on the A66, take the first turning to the left for Thornthwaite.
Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left at the sign for "Gallery", a single track road taking you into Thronthwaite village.
Follow this road round to the left, up past the gallery, bear left up the hill.
Road levels as you pass some cottages on the left.
Look out for pink cottage on the right, and bear right, following the road up the hill.
Comb Beck is the first white cottage on the left as you go up the hill.
There is a slate name plaque on the cottage wall, visible as you drive up the hill towards Comb Beck.
