With views of the Lakeland fells, this Georgian county house stands in over an acre of mature gardens which has many hidden nooks and crannies, and a secret garden area. Within easy access of Lowswater (4 miles) and Ennerdale (4 miles) this property benefits from an idyllic location in the heart of the North Western lakes. Just seven miles from Cockermouth it also benefits from easy access to quality cafes, pubs, antique shops, butchers, bakers and a Sainsbury?s supermarket.
With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, Millgillhead easily sleeps ten people. Recently renovated and refurbished to a high standard, the property boasts the latest in modern convenience while maintaining the intimate features of a classic Lakeland house.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for ten with two fridges, freezer space, 5 ring range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The dining room has a large table to comfortably seat ten.
The sitting room has widescreen television with Sky satellite, DVD and VHS video player. There is an open fire for those long winter nights. Coal and firewood are provided to create the perfect atmosphere. Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, cards and other games are provided for entertainment.
The house is heated by gas central heating making it warm and cosy throughout.

Directions to Low Millgillhead
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 40 (Penrith).
Follow the A66 to the Cockermouth roundabout (where the Sheep & Wool centre is).
Turn left at the roundabout (signed Egremont).
Go along this road to Lamplugh
You will see a row of terraced houses on your left and a turn off to Workington on your right. Just after this row of terraced houses, turn left (this is signed Lamplugh church - there are several signed turnings to Lamplugh church, this is the second one).
If you see the Lamplugh Tip Pub on your right, then you have gone just slightly too far.
Go along this road past some houses, then past open space. Millgillhead is the second house on your right after the open space.
