The Edwardene Hotel is a an attractive Victorian double fronted property located near to Keswick town centre. Built in 1885, the hotel is on three storeys and with 11 en-suite bedrooms we are able to cater for guests who are looking for comfort and luxury.
Within a short and easy walk of Keswick town centre, the Hotel provides a most convenient location close to many amenities yet in a quiet position. The Edwardene serves as an excellent base to explore the Central and Northern Lake District.
Edwardene Hotel - Keswick AccommodationOur bedrooms are all furnished and decorated to a very high standard and all have bath and/or shower rooms en-suite. Each room has a direct dial telephone with alarm clock and radio, colour television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfasts are special at the Edwardene - we serve a traditional English breakfast but Continental, Vegetarian and Vegan breakfasts are also available upon request.
Our guests are very welcome to use the very comfortable Residents Lounge, have a chat by the fireside or a relaxing drink whilst watching the television or video, read or listen to music on the hi-fi or even enjoy a game of Scrabble!

The Edwardene Hotel is located on Southey Street, a quiet residential area, only 3 minutes walk from Keswick town centre where there is a huge variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs.
From Penrith and the M6 Motorway - Follow the A66 towards West Cumbria and take the first turning signposted Keswick. At the bottom of Hawthorns, take a right at the T-junction to head along Penrith Road. Continue towards the town centre running parallel with the River Greta until you see the park on your right. At the top of a slight incline you will reach a crossroads (with the War Memorial on your right) - take a left turn here and another immediate left turn onto Southey Street (beside Cumbrian Cottages). Continue about half way down Southey Street and you will see The Edwardene Hotel on your right.
