Peter House Farm
Situated on a Lakeland Hill Farm in a tranquil location at the foot of Skiddaw, Peter House Farm Cottage and The Loft are high quality owner maintained self catering barn conversions.
These beamed properties are warm and comfortable, tastefully furnished, equipped to a high standard and have fantastic Lake District views from most windows. The properties are fed with Lakeland spring water which is lovely to bath and wash in and even better to drink!
The properties are located on a quiet country road with Skiddaw literally on your step. They are an ideal base for fell walking straight from the door or taking the car to explore the Northern Lakes.
The cottage and The Loft are owned by Valerie and Thomas Trafford who work on the farm. They are at hand to suggest one of the many walks in the area or point you in the direction of a cinema, good restaurant, local pub or view point to admire the sunset!
Directions to Peter House Farm
From the M6 Motorway - Turn off at Junction 40 (Penrith) and head
for Keswick. At the Keswick roundabout turn right (A591 to Carlisle). * Follow the road until you see High Side Farm on the right and a right turn up the hill to Overwater. Follow the road for 2.5 miles and Peter House Farm is on your right.
From Ambleside & South Lakes - Head into Keswick and follow main road until you see a right turn to A591. At roundabout go straight on. Follow instructions above from *
