Castle Lodge
Borrowdale is reputed to be the most beautiful valley in England. Castle Lodge is situated in the heart of the valley, on a quiet lane near Rosthwaite. Step outside the cottage and you are welcomed by the magnificent sights of Glaramara, Maiden Moor and a range of Lakeland fells.
For the walkers, the Cumbrian Way passes within feet of our front door, so why not rest your feet, enjoy the comforts.
Castle Lodge is also the perfect 'get away', so come and retreat into Lakeland luxury, with warm rooms, big comfortable beds and superb views.
Directions to Castle Lodge
From the centre of Keswick follow the signs for Borrowdale. On the way down the valley you pass Derwentwater overlooked by Cat Bells, Grange Bridge, the village of Rosthwaite. Just after Rosthwaite, opposite the turning to Stonethwaite, there is a small lane which leads to our bed & breakfast which is situated on your right.
