Riverside Cottage
Riverside Cottage is an idyllic luxury Lakeland self catering retreat on the banks of the River Greta in a quiet country location but only 10 minutes flat walk by the river to Keswick town centre. There is private parking for two cars adjacent to the cottage. It is conveniently situated for those arriving by coach with the bus stop only 50 yards from the door, public transport is good and many Keswick walks can be undertaken from the front door.
The end of terrace Victorian slate cottage has spectacular views over and along the river from all the rooms (see below) except the single bedroom, which looks over the houses to Walla Crag.
Directions to Riverside Cottage
From Penrith: take your first turning into Keswick from the A66 down towards the town centre. When you come to the main town T-junction (there are plants spelling out 'Keswick' ahead of you), turn right. When the road is no longer downhill there is a park on your right (Townfields). Riverside Cottage is the first building on your right after the park (there is parking directly infront of the property)
From Central Lakes (Windermere): drop down the hill into Keswick. When the road is no longer downhill there is a park on your right (Townfields). Riverside Cottage is the first building on your right after the park (there is parking directly infront of the property)
