Situated in a quiet and peaceful corner of the Lake District, Ling Close is located at the foot of Blencathra with stunning views across many of the Lakeland fells including Blencathra, Clough Head and the Helvellyn range. The self catering accommodation is in the welcoming village of Threlkeld near Keswick, a peaceful and safe location for couples and families visiting the Northern Lake District.
Ling Close accommodates up to six people in three bedrooms - one double, one twin and a bunk room - and is furnished to a high standard. There is a lounge with stunning panoramic views of the Helvellyn range, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. Outside is a private driveway with parking for two cars, a pretty garden and a seating area to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
There are many activities within the local area with Keswick just 4 miles to the West and Ullswater 10 miles East. There is plenty of opportunity to walk, both high and low levels, so you can leave your car at the property and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Lake District.
Directions to Ling Close
Threlkeld village is four miles East of Keswick on Derwentwater in the Northern Lake District. Easily accessed by the main road to the West Coast, the A66, Threlkeld is surrounded by some of the most spectacular Lakeland scenery in the area with Blencathra and the Helvellyn range on the doorstep.
From the M6 motorway: Turn off at Penrith (junction 41) and head on the A66 towards Keswick and Cockermouth. After 12 miles you will see the obvious signs for Threlkeld village turning right. Take the first turn into Threlkeld and follow the road past the Salutation Inn and The Horse and Farrier (pubs) and take the first turning right at the top of the road (Blease Road). Turn immediately right down an unmade road and travel for 100 yards - Ling Close is located at the end of this road on your left.
