Middle Fell
Middle Fell is a large stone built house, situated at over 1,500 ft above sea level on a peaceful hillside, one mile from Alston. It is approached by a steep private road nearly half a mile in length and is set in open countryside which is typical of the North Pennines. In 1991 the house was imaginatively converted from three farm cottages and traded as small hotel for several years. More recently, the house has been re-equipped and redecorated so that it now offers high quality self-catering accomodation. The property has the benefit of full fire certificate and is ideal for large family parties, university reunions, or chilling out with friends. There are two sitting rooms, one with open fire, both with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Dining room table seats 16 people or opens into pool table. Cots, highchairs and stairgate are available on request.
