Far Moor End
We present a beautiful rural property newly available for holiday lets.
Far Moor End can accommodate up to 16 people in comfort surrounded by dramatic scenery, deep within the Lake District.
If peace, tranquility and comfort are high on your list of holiday priorities, then FME will suit your needs perfectly. If you want to enjoy classic mountain walks with gorgeous scenery and breath-taking views, then you can do so right from the doorstep. You do not even need your car to enjoy miles & miles of unspoilt countryside.
FME is suitable for parties of up to 16 people and, by arrangement, two dogs.
We do not offer B&B anymore and we do accept family parties with children. (please ignore the Further Information Section below - we cannot update it)

Directions to Far Moor End Ennerdale Bridge from M6
M6 Junction 40 A66 westbound to Cockermouth
At roundabout at Cockermouth take the left turn A5086 (Egremont) (Sheep and Wool Centre on left hand side)
Follow A5086 for 7.4miles take left turn (signposted for Ennerdale/Kirland and brown sign for Low Cock How Riding Stables) - tight bends, BT telephone box on rhs
Follow this road (through Kirkland) into Ennerdale Bridge.
In Ennerdale Bridge turn left opposite Shepherd?s Arms Hotel/Post Office
(The school is on the triangle as you turn left)
Keep left and continue for approx half a mile.
Turn right at sign for Broadmoor Plantation very small signpost for ?Lake? (white cottage block on corner as you turn)
Continue just past cottages and Far Moor End on right, green metal gates
Over cattle grid and you?ve made it. Your holiday starts now!
From Penrith it takes approx an hour
