Set in beatiful gardens & woodland with stunning views of the Helvellyn range in a magnificent location, close to Keswick.
HIGH RIGG sleeps 8-10
A very comfortable & well-equipped Lakeland home enjoying superb views. Downstairs has an entrance porch with space for outdoor coats & boots, a large (26?x13?) lounge/diner with picture windows looking to the mountains, French windows to the lovely garden, mineral stone & slate open fireplace, TV/video/hifi and dining table for 10. Adjoining this is a further sitting room (11?x11?) with picture windows & a sofabed, allowing this room to be used as a fifth bedroom. There?s a downstairs WC & shower across the hall from here, and an excellent kitchen with oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher & washer/dryer.
Upstairs you?ll find two double bedrooms (13?x12? & 11?x11?), two twin bedded rooms (13?x10? & 11?x11?) and a bathroom with WC. All bedrooms have their own handbasin.

Brackenrigg is set in a stunning location, with magnificent views of Helvellyn and Blencathra. Our grounds include gardens, meadow & woodland ? home to deer, red squirrels & badgers.
We?re in the heart of the Lake District, only about 2 miles from Keswick, or a 10 minute drive from Grasmere.
You can hike the surrounding fells from the door, or use Brackenrigg as the perfect base from which to explore Lakeland.
We can help you to get the most out of your trip to the Lakes, by recommending suitable walks, putting you in touch with climbing instructors, sailing schools & pony stables?.or just suggesting good picnic spots ? and, of course, restaurants & inns.
