Nestling in the Eden Valley, in the English North Lakeland, Staffield Hall offers romantic self-catering cottage style accommodation with an emphasis on Luxury.
Once the home of the Lords of the Manor Staffield Hall has three foot thick stone walls providing peace and comfort whatever the season.
The three acres of beautiful gardens with terraced lawns and a stone fountain, have splendid views in all directions over unspoilt countryside and mountains beyond.
There are a variety of restaurants and cosy pubs serving excellent food in the nearby picturesque villages, the nearest 1 mile away.
A network of quiet lanes and footpaths await your exploration and Staffield Hall is ideally situated as a base for exploring the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
At Lazonby, 3 miles away, is a station on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway, the most scenic in England. Also at Lazonby is an excellent supermarket for everyday needs. The nearby Penrith to Hexham road was voted one of the Top Ten Scenic Drives in the World.

Directions to Staffield Hall
From both North and South:
Leave M6 motorway at Junction 41 and follow signs for Carlisle along B5305 to Stoneybeck roundabout and A6. Turn north for 2 miles to Plumpton. Turn right at Plumpton onto B6413 and drive through Lazonby and into Kirkoswald. At the top of Kirkoswald main street leave B6413 and go straight ahead towards Armathwaite for just over 1 mile. Next left after the Public Phonebox in Staffield is the driveway to Staffield Hall. Turn left down the Staffield Hall driveway. Go to the very end, through a gateway and park in the car park in front of the Hall.
