Edendale is situated in Kirkoswald, one of the most attractive villages in the Eden Valley and is ideal for exploring this beautiful unspoilt area or for a quiet overnight stay. We are only six miles from junction 40 on the M6.
The River Eden is just outside the village and the Settle Carlisle railway line has a station in the village of Lazonby one and a half miles away.
The Northern Pennines, Hadrians Wall, and the Lake District with all their wonderful scenery and wealth of history are all just a short drive away.
We have three comfortable bedrooms all with stunning views over the valley. one single, one double and one twin, all en suite, centrally heated and with colour televisions and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a comfortable lounge/dining room with an open fire.
Kirkoswald has a shop and two pubs less than five minutes walk away. One pub offers bar meals and the other more sophisticated fare and there are several other eating place within fifteen minutes drive away.
Traditional English breakfasts are served using local produce wherever possible and we also provide packed lunches on request.
There is a secure lockup for bikes and ample off road parking space.
