A striking feature of these comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained bungalows is the panoramic view. They command uninterrupted views of the surrounding fells, sweeping from the Coledale Horseshoe, encompassing the Bassenthwaite Vale and extending to the Skiddaw Masif.
The location is ideal, being on a quiet cul-de-sac only a ten minute walk away from Keswick town centre. They both have a secluded garden/patio area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the long summer evenings and spectacular sunsets. There is ample street parking, and each has a lock-up garage for vehicles of bikes.
Inside the layout for both bungalows is similar. Both have a well-equipped kitchen/dining area. No. 12 has an electric hob and No. 14 has gas. Both have microwave ovens and washing machine/tumble drier. The well-furnished sitting room in no. 12 has flat screen TV with freeview channels, DVD and video player, CD player/radio/IPCD docker, and there is a selection of books, games, CD's, DVD's and videos, plus a wealth of sight-seeing information. Both have a gas fire. Both have a twin and double bedroom with bedding provided, and a bathroom with bath/shower over. Payphones are available in both houses.
The bungalows have gas fired central heating, are well insulated and double glazed so they are always warm and cosy, whatever the Lake District weather! They make an ideal base for a winter break whilst enjoying the fells in peace and tranquility.
