The most striking feature about these modern bungalows is the stunning view. 12 & 14 Manesty View command extensive, uninterrupted views of the surrounding fells, sweeping from the Coledale Horseshoe, encompassing the Bassenthwaite Vale and extending to the Skiddaw Masif.
The location is ideal, being located on a quiet cul-de-sac only a ten minute walk away from Keswick town centre. They both have a secluded garden / patio area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the long summer evenings. There is ample street parking, and each has a lock-up garage for vehicles or bikes.
Inside, the layout for both bungalows is very similar. Both have a well-equipped kitchen/dining area; No 12 has an electric hob and oven while No 14 has gas cooking. Both have microwave ovens and washing machine / tumble drier. The comfortable sitting room also has a dining area and both have TV (video in 14), radio and gas fire. There is a twin room and double room with bedding provided, and bathroom with bath and shower. Pay phones are available in both.
The bungalows have gas fired central heating, are well insulated and double glazed so they are always warm, whatever the Lake District weather! In fact they make an ideal base for a winter break to combine Christmas shopping or January bargain hunting with enjoying the fells in peace and tranquillity.
