Broadview is a quality, friendy, non smoking, 4 Star rated guest house in Ambleside, right in the heart of the Lake District.
We are situated a short stroll from the heart of the village where there are shops, pubs, restaurants & cafes to suit all tastes. About the same distance in the other direction is Waterhead which is the top of Lake Windermere. From here you can catch the steamers around the Lake or just rest in one of the pubs or cafes and admire the views.
Broadview has 6 good quality letting rooms including a room with a king-size 4 poster bed, to suit most needs be you a walker, a travelling family with older children, sightseeing group a couple just looking for that romantic getaway.
Broadview breakfasts are renowned and can cater for the heartiest of appetites - our full breakfast menu can be found on our website.
All rooms have colour TV, DVD player, alarm clock radio, mini fridge, full tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, bathrobes and those little things to make your stay more comfortable.
We can dry wet clothes & boots for you and even lend you maps & guides for local walks. Packed lunches are available on request and most diets can be catered for if mentioned at the time of booking.

Directions to Broadview Guest House
From the M6 take exit 36 and follow the A590/A591 past Windermere to Ambleside. Continue straight on through thre traffic lights at the Waterhead Hotel on your left. Broadview is prominently situated on the righ of Lake Road directly opposite Hayes Garden World.
Windermere is the nearest railway station, buses and taxis can be taken from outside the station to Ambleside. We are only about 100 metres from a bus stop.
